Everyone knows what is money and how important it is to us ecspecially in Singapore where nothing is free! Without it we’d have no roof over our heads, food in our bellies or clothes on our backs.
It will make people WORK, imagine if everthing is FREE? every1 will slack la..
But is money really as valuable as our obsession level leads us to believe?
well i was once quite well off bt yea due to some events now im liveing quite a different life...I GUESS THIS IS WAT U CALL FATE.....although im immensely grateful for what i have :D
the lack of fortune can make people be the best that they can be in all aspects i feel...
i use to defend that money can actually buy everthing but yea today i concede and admit that it can't :D
HERE ARE WHAT THE OH SO PERFECT MONEY CANT BUY:
1)Time
24 hours 7 days a week...thats that. Once its lost you can never get it back. When you miss that chance to say, “I love you,” to someone special, that opportunity is gone.
2)Happiness
It’s a cliche that money can’t buy happiness, but it’s also true. Sure money can buy you that perfect house or car but NO it cant buy true happiness which comes from the heart.
3)Love
It’s another cliche that money can’t buy love, but its true. Money can buy initial attraction, but “true” love comes from mutual respect, caring for each other, sharing experiences, and growing together. There’s a reason that people who marry only for money rarely end up happy.
4)Friendship/ Acceptance
Even if u have the latest gizmos like PS3, a bangalow house etc it wouldnt guarantee you as a good friend but only through social interaction like being a good friend, a kind and helpful person.
5)Health
Money can buy healthcare and medicine, but it cannot replace health once it’s lost. It’s far than to rely on money to save you once your body has started to fail you. Money also can’t buy back your youth.
SOME MAY ARGUE "GOT PLASTIC SURGERY WHAT" well if u want ur nose to drop off like MJ then go ahead la ITS JUST AN ILLUSION anddd nothing beats the real thing...so fake!
6)Success
Success comes from hard work, talent/ skill and of course fate/destiny.....money could help in some cases bt these are what act determines success.
7)Talent
Money can certainly nurture a talent BUT you either have it or you dont!
LIKE FOR ME: I CANT SING AND NO MATTER HOW MUCH I TRAIN I WILL STILL SOUND LIKE A TOAD :P
8)Peace
If money could buy peace, I think we’d be there by now. I think peace only comes from acting fairly, humanely, and treating others with compassion.
9)Forgiveness
would you forgive someone if they pay you a large sum of money? well i wudnt! i will only forgive if they know their mistakes, admit them and never do it again and make it right.
10)Respect
i dont respect the rich cos their rich! if they are arrogant! why would i? cn go kiss my ass la u think u rich i care uh? i dun give a damn
11) Faith/ IMAN
well yea it cant be inherited or bought
I’m not suggesting that you give up the pursuit of money, However money cannot buy some stuffs so dont be overpowered by the idea and compelled by it cos there are more to life people! BYE yahoo im sooo happy today! :D
